Valet Bike Parking Volunteers Needed

There's nothing nicer than spending a Saturday morning at the Columbus Downtown Farmer's Market, enjoying the sunshine, food, music and chatting with friends. You can help make it easier to bike to the Farmer's Market by volunteering as a bicycle valet, while spending the morning at the market.

The Columbus Bike Co-op coordinates volunteers for valet bicycle parking every Saturday at the Columbus Downtown Farmer's Market that takes place in the Cummins parking lot at 5th and Brown Streets. It's a free service to help promote bicycling in our community. Volunteering is easy, and you can even ride your bike to the market when you volunteer - since you don't have to bring any of the equipment. There are 2 shifts: 8:30-10:30 and 10:30-12:30. The early shift involves setting up a tent, table and bike racks then helping to park bikes, while the late shift takes over the bike parking and then tears down all of the equipment.

Sign up online here and bring a friend! Parking bikes is a great way to help make it easy for folks to bike to the market and it's also a fun volunteering opportunity. Please contact info@bikeco-op.org with any questions.
